PAID PARKING SUSPENDED
Beginning December 1, 2009 and continuing through to March 31, 2010 paid parking throughout Plymouth will be suspended. There will be no charge for parking at any meter on any street or at any meter in any parking lot, and there will be no charge for parking in any Pay & Display lot.
The rules to follow are simple.
(A) Everyone must park lawfully: the parking rules and regulations still apply as to how and sometimes where a person can park. Handicap spaces, loading zones, Fire hydrants, Special Permit parking or NO parking areas (just to name a few examples) will still be enforced. If you have any questions regarding a parking area/space, please call our office (508-747-5929).
(B) There will be strict enforcement of the time limited parking spaces on Main Street, Summer Street, Court Street (downtown & North Plymouth), Main Street Extension, Water Street, South Park Avenue, the town wharf and all other posted limited time parking areas.
If you have a parking permit, we ask that you continue to park in locations and lots where your permit allowed you to park at no charge. It is especially important for people with Merchant or Employee permits to do this. Please leave parking spaces for customers, clients and shoppers.
